Robert Macdonald

Rob leads Scribd’s business development strategy, including relationships with major content, technology and consumer brands. Prior to Scribd, Rob was head of traditional media and strategic partnerships at Google in New York and Mountain View, where he led teams developing content partnerships with media brands such as The New York Times, Time, Inc., Hearst, Conde Nast and The Wall Street Journal. Rob has nearly 15 years of experience in business development and sales, including seven at Google and four at DoubleClick.

Rob holds an MBA from Case Western Reserve University.
