Matthew R. Keiser is CEO of LiveIntent and founder of Perky Jerky. Prior to founding LiveIntent & Perky Jerky, Matthew Keiser co-founded and served as the President of Datran Media, where he is still an active board member. In this role, Matt architected EO.com and Datran System, the underlying technology for Datran Media’s suite of performance marketing and audience measurement solutions. From an initial capital investment of $30,000 Matt helped build the company to 200 employees and over $100 million in revenue. Additionally, Matt ran point on five successful M&A deals and helped the company raise over $90 million in venture capital. Datran Media was recently voted one of Fast Company’s 50 most Innovative Reader Favorites. Prior to Datran Media, Matt was the SVP of Traffix, Inc., a public interactive media marketing company. While at Traffix, he led marketing and technology initiatives which helped transform the offline direct marketing company into an online direct marketing company. These initiatives included GroupLotto, a leading performance based marketing engine. Matt sold his founding interest in GroupLotto/Multibuyer in mid-2001. Matt is a founding partner and co-chair of the investment committee of Grape Arbor VC, one of NY’s most active teams of angel investors, an Executive Committee Member for Angelvine VC, and is a frequent guest lecturer for the Venture Capital & Angel Investing class at Columbia. Matt is also an advisor to the First Growth Venture Network, www.firstgrowthvn.com, a mentoring network for high potential seed and early stage start-up tech entrepreneurs in and around New York City. Previously, Matt served on the Board at Beijing based Wanmo (formerly known as madeforchina), a market leader in performance based advertising solutions to multinational clients.
Matt dedicates a portion of his time as a proud board member of Hoop-A-Paluza, Inc. He is also a member of the Advisory Council of the Board of Trustees of the Rosenbach Museum and Library. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1994 and is a member of YPO (the Young President’s Organization), Metro New York Chapter.
