Adrienne McKeown

Adrienne Mckeown, graduated from Oberlin College with a bachelor’s degree in vocal performance. After studying for two years at the Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia, she was cast in the national tour of Phantom of the Opera in the leading role of ‘Christine’. She toured the US for three and a half years.

Hal Prince, the director of Phantom, then chose Adrienne to play ‘Christine’ in the Broadway company. She stayed for six years and performed the role 801 times on Broadway. She estimates that she played Christine around 1,800 times in all.

Adrienne has also performed as a soloist with major orchestras in the US, including the Cleveland Orchestra, Philadelphia Orchestra, and the Cincinnati Orchestra.
